Yuan Dynasty (1279 – 1368)
Gong Ting Shou Puerh
The aroma is rich and deep and the brewed tea has a soft, smooth sweetness with notes of dried fruit. It is a comforting and warming tea. This Pu-Erh tea is grown and processed in the famous Lincang region of Yunnan Province, from the well-known Mengku tea variety, and produced in Feng Qing, Yunnan. The tea trees grow semi-wild. Our Pu-Erh tea meets EU standards for pesticides; it is clean and healthy.
Shou Pu-Erh is a newer form of Pu-Erh invented in the late 1970s. To make Shou Pu-Erh, the finished maocha is kept damp in large, covered piles for 3-5 months to promote a quicker post-fermentation, a process called wo dui. The timing of the wet-piling process must be closely controlled by the tea master, and stopped at the right moment for the best tea aroma and flavor. The water used for wo dui must be pure; our ripe Pu-Erh is made with fresh, clean, local spring water for the best results.
Many believe that Pu-Erh was the first tea used as a beverage. Pu-Erh tea has been drunk for at least 1,000 years, since the Tang dynasty, and became widely popular 400 years ago in the Qing dynasty. Pu-Erh is said to offer health benefits to the digestive and circulatory systems.

Madame Vestris (1815 – 1854)
English Breakfast Black Tea
A richer, more complex version of a traditional English Breakfast, we’ve blended Indian, Chinese and Ceylon Black Teas to produce an outstanding aromatic and full flavored Breakfast tea that can stand alone or be served in the traditional English manner with milk and sugar.

Florence Hines (1890 – 1906)
Black Beauty Tea
Black Beauty is a full body North India Black tea base with Peppermint & Rose. A refreshing treat, enjoyed hot we encourage you to try this as a latte. The invigorating scent of the dry and steeped leaves wakes up your senses before your lips reach the mug. Take the sip and get transported into your own wonderland.

Maude Adams (1900 – 1918)
Intermission Blooming Tea
The blooming tea is made up of tea leaves wrapped around dried flowers. This type of tea is hand crafted by binding tea leaves and flowers together in a bulb and then it is left to dry. When this bundle of dry flowers and leaves is steeped in hot water, it expands – resulting in an elegant blooming flower. The blooming flowers in hot water are the one that will capture the most attention.
The blooming tea is derived from the Fujian province of China. Mostly commonly used flowers in the flowering tea include lily, hibiscus, globe amaranth, jasmine, osmanthus, and chrysanthemum. Serve blooming tea in a glass container to see the beautiful flower unfurl in front of you. The teas are all hand-made according to Chinese traditional stories.

Azucena Maizani (c.1920 – 1945)
Yerba Mate
Yerba Mate (also referred to simply as Mate) is a stimulating, naturally-caffeinated herbal tea which shares many of the same vitamins, minerals, and compounds found in green teas. Traditionally enjoyed in a hollow gourd (mate) through a wooden or metal straw (bombilla). This is South America’s Favorite Drink, extremely popular in Argentina. The flavor of roasted yerba mate is light smokey, smoother than green mate, and lightly vegetal.
